Rental Terms & Conditions
Insurance coverage varies by provider and policy. Customers are strongly encouraged to review their personal insurance details prior to rental. SEF 20 – Loss of Use May cover rental vehicle costs while your primary vehicle is being repaired following a covered claim. SEF 27 – Rental Vehicle Protection May provide coverage for damage to or loss of a rental vehicle. Proof of valid insurance coverage is mandatory in the Province of Alberta. To decline our Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) coverage, acceptable proof of insurance must be presented at the rental counter at the time of pickup. Important: • Credit card insurance typically does not include third-party liability coverage • If a credit card is used for LDW coverage, Third Party Liability Coverage will be automatically applied • Customers should review their insurance certificate or contact their provider prior to declining coverage
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) Options • LDW $19.99/day — $3,000 deductible • LDW $24.99/day — $2,500 deductible • LDW $29.99/day — $1,500 deductible
Third Party Liability Coverage $10.99/day + applicable taxes This charge applies when: • A credit card is used as the primary LDW coverage, or • Personal auto insurance does not provide full Non-Owned Auto Rental Coverage, including liability protection
Mandatory Coverage For G2/Class 5 GDL, international, and underage drivers: • LDW $29.99/day — $2,500 deductible
Driver Eligibility • Valid driver’s license (Canada, U.S., or International in English) • Physical license required at pickup • Non-Canadian residents must present a valid passport
Security Deposit • $250 – $1,000 (varies by vehicle) • Must be on a credit card • Name must match renter Debit, cash, and cheques are not accepted for deposits.
Accepted Payment Methods • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) • Debit cards • Cash Cheques are not accepted.
Mileage & Travel Policy • 200 km per day • Up to 3,000 km for rentals 15+ days • Extra Mileage Rate: $0.25 Per Km Travel Fees: • Out-of-province: $30/day • USA travel: $35/day Unauthorized travel: $500 penalty
Fuel Policy Return vehicle with same fuel level. If not: • $35 service fee • Plus fuel cost
Vehicle Return 24-hour key drop available.
Reservations & Cancellations • Reservations held for 2 hours after pickup time Cancellation Policy: • 72+ hours: 1-day charge • Less than 72 hours: full charge • Luxury/specialty vehicles: non-refundable
Rental Modifications • Early returns: no refunds • Extensions: must be requested 48 hours in advance
Age Requirements • Minimum: 23 • Ages 23–24: $25/day fee • Maximum: 75
Additional Drivers Up to 2 additional drivers are permitted to be added to the rental contract at an additional charge of $9.99/day per additional driver. **Spouse is also considered as an additional driver. **
Optional Add-Ons • GPS: $9.99/day • Child Seat: $9.99/day
